March Madness - The First Responders

Like the swallows returning to Capistrano or seals pups hoping to escape the jaws of a massive great white shark, we all look forward to the first communiques from the august body of participants eager to fill out their brackets.

Mark "Mr. SEC" Worthington writes:

Polls show that, in terms of public trust, your blog now ranks lower than Nancy Pelosi, kidnappers, tapeworms, Hitler, F/X updates and airline flight announcements. You are still slightly ahead of lawyers, however.

Of course, these poll results were reported by the news media, so they could be wrong. In fact, there might not actually have been any polls; it's possible that some reporter made the whole ``credibility'' story up. But I don't think so.

The Committee takes these charges very seriously.

We'll look into them. We'll have a full blown "ethics" investigation.

Seriously.
